I spent 2 weeks reviewing before the summative exam. We did review centers each day. Each team did the same center the first day, then rotated through centers the rest of the week. I had a substitute for two days, so I have parts of those review centers but not the review games. Each review center involved a team mastery booster, a review game, and an individual mastery booster. The team master booster they worked together on using a review notes sheet. They also played the review game together without notes. Then they completed the individual mastery booster alone without notes. In order to manage behavior and encourage cooperation, I gave each team a team work rubric and scored them on two rows at least twice during a class. The rubric worked really well to show them what behavior was and was not appropriate during team work and allowed them to improve.
Note: 3a and 3e are not full review centers.
